Anyone have an updated set of maps for this or know where I can get a set?

Also.. Anyone else have an issue with the cable cover shredding itself away?

Damn, well someone bumped it up. I didn't look at it much haha.

I have the latest map cd for these. tried burning it but wont work....... You get them from whereis.com.au

i contacted bosch regarding this and they told me to buy the new maps from whereis.. they also said that if my previous disc was V9 or newer then i wont need a firmware upgrade and if i do need it then it costs $50 from their service centre.
now my problem is that i dont know what version my previous disc is as when i bought the car it had a copied writable disc in it so i dont know what version it is.. can anyone help me identify it?

My disc is Version 12, which is 2005 vintage apparently.

What map version did you start with before upgrading? If V9 onwards do not need a Bosch upgrade of the unit, then I will consider this disc!

FYI that V18 page which lists it as the "latest" version also says copyright 2009. rod_polky can confirm but I think those maps are still 3+ years old.
