Hey guys just interested in some peoples thoughts on my situation, just purchased a 97 KF who i bought off a bloke that only had it couple months (QLD), seems when on highway at a bit of speed (80k's+) the wind can sort of wobble the car, at first it felt like when a passenger throws themselves side to side but it does it with or without people in the car, not always, seems more common when on a long sweeping corner.

I have copies of 2 recent safety inspections one for when i changed over to my name and one few months earlier for previous owner, both different garages and one even failed he has some stuff replaced to pass it so i assume it's been scrutinised a bit.. looking myself nothing seems loose or worn i am taking a guess at rooted shocks? any thoughts??

Thanks :)

My first thought was dead shocks, too.

The car itself has done 270,000 so could even be a 2nd or 3rd set buggered who knows??
Might go in for the old pedders $14 check.... Just living here it's an hour drive before you find civilisation let alone a mechanics/pedders.

Yes, mine does that to. I swear it's the thrust alignment. The suspension place had no idea how to fix it (or about anything, really), so my mechanic tightened the crapola out of something in the rear assembly. Worked a treat. Trying to name the part for you in Ellery's but it's useless. MadMagna will know for sure. PM him ;)
