Ok so ive come to the point where my fan and Ac belts need replacing. I know the basics on how to do it but thought I would run it past someone whose done it before to give me the low down on problems I may encounter, and things I can do to make my life a little easier :)

Remove any plastic shields in the way.
See how tight the belts are.
Locate adjuster bolts for the belt tensioners.
Wind them back. Don't unwind completely.
Loosen middle nut/bolt in tensioners.
Move tensioners.
Remove belts.
Put on new belts.
Use tensioner bolts to tighten to the same as old ones.
Tighten middle bolt on tensioners.
Check tension in 1,000 km and adjust belt tension if needed. (it will be)

When I did them on the TR, I had no idea how I would fit a socket down between the pulley and what I thought was the body, then realised it was just a flimsy plastic shield piece that pushed aside to give a bit more access.
