Hey guys anyone had the issue of when u half ur sterring half lock and flick to reverse and the car switches off?i have a th sports and its never skipped a beat always serviced at before interval times as
is the auto..could it be the auto 4 speed tippy box.cars done 273k.thanks od1out

Is this an intermittant thing or constant thing for starters
Could be the stepper motor as the ps will signal the ECU to lift rpm and then the secondary action of putting into reverse may be that small rev drop required to stall the engine

hey mate thanks for the reply it happens every now and then not that often though and another thing sometimes when i brake a little hard the car sounds like it wants to stall also.
weird i know.

I would say 90% either TPS or ISC, I am able to plug into the MUTTII and see if there are any error codes as TPS will log a code

I reckon dirty/faulty ISC not keeping the revs high enough, my VS (Commodore) did this - Steering, Brakes and Reverse = stall (or in my case very-near stall)
