I want to get rid of the drum setup handbrake and use the disc brakes as the handbrake iswell. is the an easy way to do this or best to change the hub that runs disc handbrake?

To be honest, I can not see any reason why you would want to change it to a problematic disk set up, they lock up and are a PITA

You could look for a donor car with similar size rotors and just use the caliper off that car then yo have also the headache of cables

If your handbrake is that important to you to lock up wheels, just go a hydrolic handbrake set up, problems solved
