let me guess... your car is lowered or springs have been changed

I experience something similar to him but it's only when it's cold of a morning. My car is lowered but this was happening before it was lowered.

maybe getting a wheel alignment will help, especially that u were hit on the wheel

check your engine mounts!!! they were the source of my shudders!!!

According to my haynes work shop manual sagging ur broken springs can cause a shudder, so my guess is that it would be the same with lowered springs aswell. I've been told it could be due to the camber and how it can't really be adjusted very much on 3rd gens, or at least thats what a fella at quickfit tyres said when I got my wheels aligned after replacing my front 60mm springs with 40mm's. Camber/castor kit maybe?

i'd imagine that it was one or more of your engine mounts, i have the same problem, just slip ir clutch some more... you'll be right, perhaps high revs as well,

alternativly it's just dollars, get new engine mounts

My 3.0 TE does this as well.

I do definately find it's only when cold. Once the temperature gets up to normal, I can't make it do it, even when I try.

For me at least, it's just the engine wanting to stall when it's cold. A few more revs fix it.

(Note, I havn't lowered my car, and (at least) one engine mount it warn)
