Clutch is almost burned out and no new parts are available and no shop wants to know because of it, so this has to be a DIY.
The drive plate is only dense cork so easy to do but how do you take it apart??
When you engage drive the pulley rotates in an anti clockwise direction and when you press the clutch handle it takes up the drive through the rear rollers.
There's no other way to access it but what you see, so am thinking the centre piece has to somehow unscrew....but how?? and would it be a right hand or left hand thread?
Those 2 holes dont expose anything behind them to help so am supposing you need a tool in them and belt with a hammer??
Anyone any ideas

If it unscrews at all it would be against the drive direction, that is, taking up drive would tighten it. Get a steel bar, drill two holes in it spaced apart the same distance as the two holes, force some bolts down the holes - assuming they are not threaded - and bash the end of the steel bar in the opposite direction to drive. Fix the cork lining, reverse to assemble.

Good luck. I like the old roller lawn mowers, worth while to keep them going. lol

looks like the center of that piece is a spline, if the asbove doesnt work, try a bearing puller. with the center on the spline and the claws on the outer edge.

Which will just shatter the outer edge of the pulley. To me it looks like the head of a bolt welded onto the pulley. It probably screws to the roller through a bearing. But, try whatever works.lol

no shit if he did it too hard

also, try to find a 9 inch angle grinder tool to change disks, that may fi the holes
