Hey guys just confirming that 12v is different to Accesories wire?
Is the following assumption correct or incorrect?
12v is a powerline straight from the battery (preferably with an inline fuse) and is usually a red cable
Accesories wire is usually blue...dunno how many or if its the same Volts

Im pretty sure its the same V...
I at least have several things attached to the Accessories wire.. Could always use a multimeter

Accessories wire is the same voltage, and is pretty much identical to the permanent 12v, only difference is the acc wire is only live when the car is on acc or above.
I wouldn't make any assumptions on colour, it will vary on car/headunit.

Use a multimeter mate that will tell you what your dealing with. It'll always be 12V as there are not many 5V lines in the car at all, and they are all engine related anyway.
It is usually a red cable, but never EVER guess!
