hi all. I have a 96 TS wagon y721 v6 in auto. I am planning a manual conversion. My question is will the manual box from the 2.6 astron fit the 3.0? probably a stupid question but i have two manual 2.6 sedans lying around that i can source from.

4cyls have different bolt on pattern

if going a head with the manual conversion
some of the crank ends from auto to manual motors are drilled different


check also on the starter motors some V6 differ manual to auto

Bummer. Oh well guess ill have to keep looking for a v6 donor. Thanks for the help.

edit. If anyone knows where i can find a manual gearbox in perth would be appreciated. Having 90% of all models sold as auto makes them a little hard to come by. Trying to convince my step-dad to sell me his manual so i can scrap it, not having much luck.
