Hi all,

It has been ages since I have been on the forums, good to be back.

I am considering getting a new car (potentially the Lancer Aspire with the fosgate sound system) and am wondering if it is worth transferring my sound system from my magna to the lancer. I currently have a car computer in my magna hooked up to a 4x100rms watt Jaycar amp and a kicker starter subwoofer (so not an overly impressive subwoofer). The speakers I am running are the nice jaycar kevlar 6x9's in the rear and I think the jaycar kevlar 6"( maybe 6.5") splits in the front. So the sound at the moment in my magna is excellent and I would like to retain that however I am just wondering if it is an upgrade compared to the fosgate system in the lancer aspire (or any modern premium car such as the Hyundai i45 premium, Honda Accord 3.5ltr etc.) or would I be just as happy with the stock speaker systems that modern premium cars have.

Thanks for your oppinions because it was a bitch to install the sound system in the magna and I am not really looking forward to uninstalling it than installing it again in a new car, but if its worth it than I will.

Cheers.

In short...no its not worth it. The Rockford Fosgate sound system in the Lancer is kick ass.
