hi all,
let me share my 3.6 years of 380 ownership. build date 10/2006 : purchace date 05/2007 ex-demo 700 km- dealership service from new. this vehicle hasn,t gave us any issues in this time frame, still has original battery & brake pads, tyres done at 60k & no modifications, looking forward to the next 100k.


had t / belt done today, i,ll show a breakdown of costs
center bolt crankshaft $ 49.91
gasket-intake 28.46
spark plugs x6 81.60
v-belt a/c 78.79
v-belt p/s 66.55
t/belt 160.60
labour 288.63

You did not replace the water pump??

I am breaking up the service of the timing I just did plugs at 90K but will do the timing plus water pump at 105k

they are Great cars full stop very glad I went with a Mitsi over the Aurion and Sonata

Why would they charge you $49.91 for a 'center bolt crankshaft'?
Surely it's reusable?
And last I knew it's a nut, not a bolt.
Unless they stuffed up this bolt when doing the timing belt change.
Sounds fishy to me.

yes i thought about the waterpump but it should make the next belt change, i was,nt game enough to go past 100k belt service because i dont know where i stand with warranty if it breaks at say 103k. as far as i know they always had a bolt it is used to hold the harmonic balancer in place, ( correct me if i am wrong)
