24 mm socket needed, get a new sump plug from the dealer if it is at all damaged, very shallow head on these. and an "O" ring. Cheap as. If it is rounded off use a monkey wrench. Torque up to 39 Nm, as per the manual, any tighter and they are buggers to get off.

And make sure you get a 6 point not a 24 point

I first had a 24 point and i almost rounded the bolt off. The cost of buying the proper part is not very high. Do it once, do it properly, buy the correct tool.
