Hey all,

My 95 TS Magna has starting severely jerking when driving, and stalling at idle. happens when sitting on a steady speed and when accelerating. Had the same problem fixed by mechanic about 2 months ago, maybe less, he said that he cleaned the throttle body and replace (?) idle speed solenoid. I've got a workshop manual and am thinking of tackling the throttle body and giving it a clean. but is this likely to be the issue again? i tried cleaning it by just taking off the the air inlet, and squiting the throttle cleaner in and wiping it, but it didnt seem to do much and certainly did nothing to help the car. any ideas would be great, thanks. oh and the problem occurs only when the car warms up a little, drives about 400-500m and things go south

clean out or replace the fuel filter

have the injectors cleaned

car is fuel-injected, should i check the injectors to see if they are making the steady clicking noise? sorry but my car engine knowledge is VERY limited

mechanic has fixed the issue, needed a new ignition coil.
