Our KJII has just developed a problem when we lock it using the remote. All doors except the driver's door lock. The central locking works on all the doors when it's activated from the driver's door inside the car. I've taken the door trim off but I don't really know what I'm looking for. Has anyone else had this problem or suggest a possible cause?

Sounds like your drivers door actuator has died,when you lock the drivers door from the inside your locking it manually.

Thanks. Do you know if the actuator can be replaced on its own or is it part of an assembly? From what I can see inside the door, it seems to be part of the door latch unit.

I have these on the shelf, let me know if you need one.

Is usually the drivers door one that dies, can be a PITA as sometimes will unlock or randomly lock the car also
