ok like the title states. where do i fill it from. i have a tr 4cly astron II 5 speed which needed some cv's. so i drained the the oil out (from the drain plug at the bottom like in the manual) and pull out the old cv's. put new cv's in but do ya think i can be sure where to put it back in?? no picture in the workshop manual, it just tells ya to fill it up with the right stuff not where too. thought thered be a dipstick like in my last car (tp auto) but nooooooooo. there's a bolt and washer in about the same spot as the tp auto but i'm unsre if i should unscrew it and start pumping oil down there. Can anyone point me in the right direction?? buffy ,madmagna hint hint............

no pic
the filler bolt is on the front of the box
could be 17 mm or larger
a guess
maybe half way up the front of the casing
thought it was above the clutch fork
takes about 2 litrs of oil
I use a funnel and a length of garden hose to fill from the engine bay
you are right about the repair manual

Drain plug and fill plugs are the same size. Use a funnel and a clear bit of hose. Pour it in slowly so it gets time to level out. You know its full when it overflows. I used VMX80 in mine (TS 2.6), takes a while but you don't need to do it often. lol
