Hi all,
Has anyone had the X-Force SS system fitted to their AWD??
Talked to Dean at X-Force this morning.
He told me that they do a SS system. $250 + fitting for a replacement 2.5" CAT section and $600 + fitting for the cat back part of the system.
If you have could you let me know what you think.
Bit of a ruch job as the exisitng system is now rooted. CAT is probably gone, rear sports muffler is rusted out inside and there is a small hole in the front hot dog.

In short DONT use these rubbish headers, they are as thin as foil and will crack
I have one customer with them, and he now regrets using them. His have cracked on the lower pipes near where they join, XForce weld the 2 pipes together for some reason and with all the heating and contracting they hve cracked, i did weld them back up but noticed how thin they were at the time
Family Wagon has the HM, he loves them and you can even keep your heat sheilds in place as well
If you want good headers, I can set you up with HM, I distribute them and they are direct bolt on. OR you can get Hurricane if you prefer.

+ 1 for the AWD HM Headers. Easy to fit, work well and look factory.
These were actually developed for an AWD Ralliart Magna that didn't go any further.

Just to give you an indication, the HM Headers for the AWD I can do for $650, the RRP on these is $833

I was actually asking about the rest of the system from X-force.
Based on what I saw in the Sydney engineering show earlier in the year all these systems come from one province in China!!

Do they know that the layout of the AWD is different to the FWD? I have found that exhaust and tyre people say yes we can do it until they see it in the flesh.

So this is going to cost you $850 + fitting to do in total? (So probably close to $1,000?)
I reckon you could have the lot made for less than that - with quality components too, all at your local exhaust shop. Grab a few parts from ebay & bestmufflers.com if you've got the time & get it all fitted.
