As the title says I am looking to buy an Alpine head unit here in Aus, but cheaper than RRP as most places I have seen have it.

From JB Hi-Fi and the like for around $330, essentially they are very very similar, with the same RRP. the one I like has radio text and no clock, the second has a clock and no radio text, but the clincher is the first matches my car better both in colour and lights.

So just wondering if anyone knows of any car audio shops that sell alpine that may be able to get me the head unit closer to the price of the very similar one sold at JB Hi-Fi, as I dont want to spend an extra $120 for something so similar.

Why not buy from the US? It will prob be a lot cheaper from the US too...

Might be an idea, whats the go with warranty though, and are they exactly the same models?

I just found one from UK on ebay, anyone have any experience buying UK head unit for Aus?

I know with the ones from the US you get different radio frequencies, fm should be fine but you wont pick up any AM stations, don't know how the warranty would work though.
