Hi, my radiator fan will not switch on - And my check engine light is on, i replaced the coolant sensor and it is still not switching on, I really need help here, does anyone have any ideas or know where i can get a wiring diagram?

BTW the fan does switch on when i turn on the aircon. :kb:

Update

Could it be that the radiator and condenser fan relays arent working properly?

isnt there relays under the bonnet in the black box for the radiator fans? maybe swap one just to see if its that

Thanks Valitank i tried just that this morning and both the Cooling fan and Radiator Fan Relays weren't working, I have replaced them and the fan kicked in like it should ! Finally, Now the problem is the Check Engine Light is still on, but the car seems to be running fine, except when cold it likes to stall on me at low revs.

Does anyone know where to connect the reader thingie for the ECU so i can get the codes? I have acsess to one and we "think" it would be under the steering wheel, is that correct? - Ariel

Gadanngit! Wrong connection, the reader we have is an OBD II and wont read the 1993 models :(

Fortunately a helpful group member has kindly informed me how to read the codes with a Analogue Multimeter - Which then gave me the idea of doing it with a LED light and read the codes by how long the light comes on for, same method but instead of a jumping needle i has a flashing light :P

If anyone Down South needs their OBD II Codes read i am happy to let them use the reader here. Stuff paying some mechanic whi will probably trow in a few imaginary codes of his own!!
