OK I haven't seen this one described anywhere by anyone and I will do my best to describe it here. Firstly I have an auto so it may not happen with the manual box. After I have been in reverse and have reversed for a short distance I put it into drive and and it makes a "CLICK - CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK" sound from the front passengers side corner. Now before I get a barrage of CV answers, it is considerably quieter than a stuffed CV noise and happens whether turning or in a straight line. It only ever happens after you have been in reverse. I am also noting a drop in fuel economy and am not sure if this has anything to do with it. I am pretty sure the if I take it into Mr Mitsi they will tell me they can't find anything (through lack of interest). It is subtle but an unusual sound. OK out to all the 380 gurus for comment.

Drop in economy is more to do with the heat I reckon but never had an issue with noise

I have had it for a few summers now and haven't had a drop like this.

I spoke to Mr Mitsi whilst the car was in for an error light and he said the noise was the ABS unit calibrating or something similar to that.
