How do you remove these?
They are both round things with wires that fit on the end but do you just pull the wires off or do you have to remove the whole switch? I don't want to pull and have the wires break but they are really stiff and won't budge.

The wires are attached so how does one use a ring spanner? I have tried a spanner but there ain't enough room to use it

Alright you going to have to disconnected the wires I know the oil pressure switch should be fairly easy to remove and the oxygen senor will either disconnected by the plug or simply cut the wires. Use a long socket as then you can shove the wires inside. There really no other option that I can see. But one of the other members might be able to help out in more detail.

Oil switch: the wire pulls off, but you need to push a small tab on it at the same time. Manual recommends using a deep socket to remove it.

O2 sensor: Wires are permanently attached and needs to be unplugged from inside the car. Use an open ended 22 mm spanner to undo it. It will be tight initially, a plumper's monkey wrench might be needed to start it.

My O2 sensor was very tight on - find yours, soak in WD40 and get an extension pipe/breaker bar on your 22mm spanner for some leverage.
One person recently said they braced their feet against the garage wall to apply more leverage and got it first go.

I gave up and handed the car to the mechanic which was almost a waste of $100 but I was sick and didn't care. Plus they had to pull the carpets back and scratch their hands under the console to find the cable & plug :)

I can't advise at all on the Oil sender though.

Cheers, Graham.

Man easy as, peel back the passenger side kick trim, and look for a white flat 4 pin plug poking out towards your side....It'll be the only one there.
