i would assume it would be, becuase all the doors are the same arnt they te/tf/th/tj i think from then onwards there was extra bracing in the doors so it MAY have changed, mabye pm madmagna

Ahh cheers man. Its a TJ that the glass is from, just wanting to know if it will fit on my TF. I assumed it would, but really just wanting to make sure.
Gonna be picking it up tommorrow though so i'll just have to find out for myself I think...!

The TJ driver's glass has 4 holes in the glass that the mounts and hooks bolt to. The threaded part is actually a metal disc that sits on the other side of the glass. If you have stripped yours just replace the disc. No need to replace the glass if it is not damaged. The TJ lifts the glass with a cable arrangement. If you have a pic of the interior of the door I can tell you if it looks the same as the TJ. If your window glass has a metal bar across the bottom with mounting holes then they are not the same.

According to the manual all third gens are the same. Worth your while to read up on how to adjust it so it doesn't leak. lol

Very true!

I tried to figure out how to remove the disk but I couldnt work it out! Is there a method to get it out?
Maybe ill just use the glass I get tommorrow for practising applying tint! :D

Edit: Does the Tj glass still have the same mounting holes as a TF? Could I just take one of the disk things out and replace it with the ripped one in my tf glass?

The metal disc has a plastic spacer between it and the glass. Just push them both out, once the bolt is out there is nothing holding the metal disc on.

Can't see why not. Just use your TF glass with one of the mounts from the TJ glass, and keep the TJ glass as a spare.

TF glass and TJ glass is the same

The only difference is the stopper (round black plastic bit attached to the glass) on the TJ is in a different spot to the TF, this can be moved as the door part (is an angle part with a rubber pad on it) has holes in the door for both positions.

From memory on the TF the rear hole is used where as on the TJ the forward hole is used

Ok so I took a look last week, seems the glass is slighly different as you guys thought! The TF glass is all curvy on the bottom and the Tj glass is very square. The screw holes seemed to be in the same place, but the TJ door has a window stop thing (The black bit) in a different position and this couldnt be moved to the TF position as the hole isnt there on the TJ one. Dunno if this would affect much though. Anyway I just took out the screw holes in the TJ window and popped them into my TF to replace the stripped one! Thanks guys!
