Guys, I am currently at work and I will fill this thread out in full tonight,

I basically am chasing a photo of the magna gear box with its bolt pattern, this is for a MANUAL box.

I am currently sourcing a gearbox for my failed 6A13 conversion and hoping that a magna box will bolt to it.

Anyhow, if anyone has pics and dimensions or info, would be great.

I am led to believe that the 6A13 is a 7 bolt pattern

I'll take photos as soon as i get home, will be about half an hour

What was wrong with the 6A13 from the FTO? :(

FTO was 6A12, Ive sourced the LSD gear box codes now, there are 3 manual boxes in all of WA at wreckers so need to see if any are LSD, im looking at around 1,100 for the box with pressure plate, fly wheel and clutch that came off the car.

I am still most likely going down this road, but if I can get my hands on a nice ralliart Lsd box for only 600 - 900 then im saving dosh in my books :P

Magna are a 6 bolt set up, 4 bolts from the box side, 2 from the engine block side

What happened to the broken box, has that been thrown out

broken box is being stored at a mates for the moment till he gets a chance to look at it to see if I damaged it or not wich in hind sight was stupid, I should have seen if they matched up, im uploading pics as we speak amd im about to go take pics of the 6a13 block to see if anyone thinks this will work

It is totally different to the magna pattern however

Other issues are the one on the pic is a push clutch, the magna is a pull clutch, no facility for the water pipe that the magna bell housing sits either side of.

riiight, so in really lamen terms? that means no? like the bolt pattern is definately not gonna work?
