Ok, so my roof linings has got a fair few decent stains on it....
I think if it was black (along with c-pillar plastics) would go great with the vrx interior!
I had a mate do it in his vs commodore and it looked real good, but he just used spray paint ;( dont know how much i trust that though?
I am thinking about dye for the roof lining and paint for the plastics (will definitely use plastic primer, Ive learnt that much lol)
Any how, any advice/tips, or even pics if you've done it would be great!
I'm guessing that the roof lining would be fairly simple to remove as well?
Cheers....

The roof lining is a fabric. don't bother with paint or dye, just replace it with a fabric of your choice. Easy as. Do a search.

honestly scrap the paint and go buy some material from the fabric shop and a few spray cans of contact adhesive, looks way better and is a bit of fun to do, not too difficult either

Spotlight (the shop) sells the material, pinup board material works well, or stuff that looks like mouse fur. Don't buy really thin stuff as the glue can seep through. I just used pinup board material and liquid contact cement after removing the headliner from the car (it comes out the passenger door by bending it slightly on a sedan, a wagon straight out the tailgate), taking off the material and rubbing the foam backing off the cardboard. Start at the back, apply adhesive for about 30 cm, apply material while still wet, fold back unglued material. Continue until you get to the front. Press the material down well in the shapes around the visors, cut holes for lights, and trim the edges. Easy as.
I always use material that is close to the original colour, so it fits in well - no need to paint/cover plastic trim or sun visors. Black would make the interior of the car very dark and small. Your choice though.

the plastics which i presume you mean pillar covers are the easiest part, the only pillar i didn't cover was the b pillar (middle one) as the seatbelt height adjuster looked a little tricky compared to the rest so it is painted the same colour as my electric window controls. as for covering the sun visors and what not, good luck doing it on your own, id suggest you paint them.
fabric? dont know what its called but make sure its a single sided fabric or like madmax has mentioned the glue will seep through, i suggest you use an aerosol to further prevent it from happening and make sure you get an even coat and don't apply the fabric to the lining until the glue has become tacky or semi dry or it wont bond properly and the next 40degree day we have you will notice it start to sag and you will be pulling it back out to do it again like i did.
make sure when applying the fabric to the lining you don't put tension on the material when moulding it around the sun visor offset and the passengers handle bar thinghys or it will not sit properly over time
give yourself plenty of time to do it, and allow and hour + just to prep the roof lining its such a pain in the ass rubbing off the orange foam left over once you peel back the original lining, you need like a hard bristle broom for it.
and madmax black RULZ lol

for the sun visors, you can use the shoe dye from mr minute etc, don't be cheap, get the prep solution as well. Came up a treat on mine, jesus handles no good tho.

the jesus handles are a fairly oily compound , need some basic etching first for coatings to grip properly.
