I've been offered a ralliart wing for a very reasable price in the exact colour that is my car.
The stock vr-x wing looks good from the side and front but terrible from the back as far as im concerned and i always wanted a ralliart wing. But the more i see pictures of vr-x kits with ralliart wing the more i like it less???? It seems chunky and strange but im not sure if this is what i want.
Im thinking i might buy it but it requires an extra hole in the boot and i suppose a fitting kit which may come with the spoiler (not sure). Is there a way to get around the hole in the spoiler? Aka double sided tape?

Will the drag and downforce created by the spoiler not be able to be held by the tape in the middle branch?

for those who don't know a ralliart spoiler should fit into the stock vr-x holes but needs an extra in the middle due to its design.

Another thought, do the brake lights require the middle hole? or can they come out one of the side holes like my vr-x spoiler?

i thought of not having my bootlid drilled but i got it done just incase it started lifting also the Brake light wire is the same position as the vrx one

True, but its not to much of a concern for me.

last time i fitted a ralliart wing to a vrx i cut off the centre bolt from the wing itself .. didnt need to touch the boot this way.. never had an issue with the wing lifting or anything like that

If you did that though, you might want to put some form of padding, so it doesnt scratch the crap out of the boodlid. Otherwise, what TuffTR said one day, line it up with the outer holes, then mark around the bolts where the middle section sits and drill away

Yer me and Jesse_james made a sort of plan where we would make our own fitting kig considering mitsubishi don't sell them anymore. basicly some rubber and make it very sticky, If i ever want to remove the wing i can peel it back and buff it up.
