Hey guys, I had to change a battery in a 2003 TL ES I bought last week as it had been sitting for a few months and when I first turned the ignition on, it flashed "S" and when I pushed the mode button it changed to what is meant to look like a "W" Being new to Magna's I didn't know what this was and I have held the button down to select the "W"

As I have a sedan should I disconnect the battery and start over selecting "S" ? Or is the only difference between the two of them for working out fuel usage on the trip computer?
Only reason I haven't done it yet was because it took a while to get it idling properly after the ECU reset and I'd like to avoid losing those settings.

Thanks,
Nathan

S means Sedan
W Wagon
Yup, pretty much sets it to calculate for the trip

S is for Sedan, W for Wagon.

This setting allows the trip computer to give the fuel usage and averages for each vehicle based on the differences in the fuel tanks between the two. Selecting wagon for a sedan just means that the fuel readings will be a little off.
