Hey guys when i first got the TE i was told by my mechanic that the oil pressure switch was leaking.

Now when i was changing my filter the other day i noticed there was a nut like fitting and i am just wondering how simple it is to take the switch out.

I obviously know i have to undo the electrical connector but unsure whether i twist/pull or even use a socket to get it out.

Also what is a reasonable price to pay for a new one?

You have to twist it to get it out
Unplug the connector, grab a screw driver and take off the metal clip the connector clips onto then grab a 24mm? (I think its 24mm) and undo it like a normal nut
I think they were only about 20 bucks from mitsubishi

Try your local auto accessories for a replacement. Have used sockets, multi grips or open ended spanners in the past to remove them. They unscrew anti clockwise and should be a 1/8" BSP / NPT thread. The tightening torque is 10 Nm / 7.37 ft lb. Be carefull not to over tighten when fitting otherwise you may snap it off or strip the thread in the housing
