GDay AMC! My TH Magna a couple of years ago was broken into, and the drivers door lock and boot lock were busted, now the passenger lock decided to die, and am living on the remote control!
Thank God the bastards didnt screw the ignition lock!...
I have seen recently a set of locks for both doors, the boot and the ignition, with a new key, surplus on ebay for like $50, my question is, how hard will it be to (a) install the door locks, (b) i figure the ignition/new key will be hard as to do due to the security coding, is there software available I can recode this at home? torrent maybe?
Thanks to all of you who read this,
Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Keep your original lock and key for the ignition, but replace all the broken locks. You will end up using 2 keys to use your car. Mark the door lock key in some way to make things easier.
If you really want one key, get a mitsu dealer to install the new ignition lock and encode the key for you. Do it yourself and the car will be non-functional.
Door locks need doors stripped and handle removed to change the locks. Boot one is much easier.

get new / 2nd hand door/boot locks and recode them yourself...dead easy (most oem locks come as a universal kit no its easier than recoding a used lock)

You can move the ignition immob sensor to under the dash somewhere and strap your original key to it... then put the new ignition barrel in the car and use the new keys
by using this method the car thinks you have put the original key into the barrel and turned the car on, where in fact your using a completely different key, but just tricking the car..

Wow, thanks for the creative replies. Think I shall suffice with ordering the set off ebay as a backup, and another remote unit. Anyone know any good specials on these? Best I can find is about $85 for the remote.
