i test drove them when i was looking at buying a new car.

meh...I'd prefer a nissan 300zx. theyre quite vague and surprisingly slow given the mivec engine.

go something from a different manufacturer.

Did you take it above 4000rpm? Plus the 300zx is notoriously difficult to work on.

6A12 engine, 2.0lt V6, I would not buy an auto and if your considering it, look for the models with the LSD codes on the manual boxes....

Not all "GPX" models (top if the line) have the LSD....

Can't go wrong with gear changing at 8,300rpm :)

GPvR was an awesome drive. The one i test drove had a catback, and the mivec roar above 8krpm was incredible.

Too small, though.

FTOs are rare beasts for sure. Saw one in a car park a few years back, it looked pretty sad. The youngest are now 10 years old, good luck finding a good manual one.

Its a tiny car for sure, can't see a good reason to buy one as it needs the crap revved out of it to make the same Kw as a 3.5, a Magna from the same year would be cheaper, be in better condition, and be more relaxing to drive. But if you like go carts . . . . . . lol

Pretty hard to pass up these days given the price, however the 300ZX or even Aussie V8s still get me a bit more excited :)

TBH I'm surprised they aren't more popular as they look sporty and have the mivec engine.
Thought there would be more modding potential than magna's, albeit having to source from overseas.

Then again I haven't driven one.
