Hey guy's, its been a while.
Just looking for some help.

Yesterday i went to start my old four bangga, and she's barely cranking (and no of course its not the battery, im not that stupid haha) ive tried a couple of different batterys and also bypassing the battery completely but to no avail. Oh and i tried bridging the starter solenoid (did nothing)
All she does is barely turn over once or twice; all electrics are working fine headlights, HU etc.

Admittedly I have'nt started her for about a month, could the motor or starter motor have siezed in this time?

Any help would be appreciated
Anyway thanks in advance :)

tap the starter motor as someone starts it and ull should know if its the starter motor

yea i know of that trick, have used it on my honda quad more times than i like to mention :P the only thing is that due to the efi the starter is a bitch to get to without putting it on stands (which is hard when it won't go!!!)

the inside of the starter has a plastic ring gear

that often brakes if it isnt the solenoid
that may be the problem

by barely crank do you mean it get ssay half a crank or maybe just one crank and wont keep cranking with the key turend to start? if that is the case,m it sounds like hydralock? seized maybe? did you hvae a leaky headgasket prior to not starting for a month>

A lil update, i got a bunch of mates over and we pushed the thing onto a pair of ramps.

Got the starter motor off and as Buff said the plastic planetary gear is broken but still working fine, the brushes are almost non existent, the solenoid seems fine but i dont dobut thats on the way out too. I dont usiually beleive in just throwing stuff away, but this is seriously too stuffed, id rather go to u pull it or a wreckers and buy a used one then slap some brushes into it and go from there :P

oh any lynel, did you just ask if a 4 cyl tr magna has a leakey head gasket!? ahah i think almost all do ;) anyway to answer your question it wasnt hydralocked or siezed.
