Exterior belts can let go suddenly if not installed on the pulleys correctly, worth a check when you put on a new one. If one of the ribs is sitting on the edge of the pulley, it will shred that part of the belt and flap about.

If the wire is broken outside of the timing case, just bare the ends and join them up again. Use the colour code to see which goes where. Use short lengths of joining wire if they don't reach, solder them together then tape them up. If the break is inside the timing case, or the CAS is damaged, it becomes a much harder job to fix.

I take it then that you snapped your timing belt?
Did it happen while you were driving?
If you did then you've more than likely did damge to the engine internals also, if thats the case, then depending on the damage you could be looking at a new motor.
If, however you could be extremely lucky and done little to no damage if you'd managed to stop the motor in time.

If you wire it up, it will not function correctly using the factory ECU set up as it is extremely sensitive

If oyu do decide to do this, please dont use tape, wires will get wet, will corrode etc etc

Use heat shrink. When fitting aftermarket ECU set ups I have in the past lenghened these wires however in this case as the belt grabbed them you dont know what other damage has been done to the wires further down or the cas itself. best to change it over

Try joining them together as you see fit, as a temporary measure, if it doesn't work you need a new CAS. Not cheap, not easy to put in. If it works thank your lucky stars and make the joints more robust. Not much clearance between the belt and the CAS cable.

yeah i have sourced one from the wreckers cheap its just the hassle of putting it in,yeah i will try and wire it up,but hopefully that is what is making it not start, its got battery power and i got told it should still run off the battery until that dies, cuz the cable is not completley snaped, just wire raped around other wires ect.

Is easy to install if you have a rattle gun you an get access to

Remove remaining belt
Remove crank pulley and ps idler
Remove 2 top covers to allow lower cover to come off
Remove old CAS is 2 10mm bolts
Install new one, torque and use locktite on the threads
Revers of above to complete

There is no reason to remove the timing belt provided it has not been damaged
