Every now and then my check engine and traction control light com on together on my 2000 TH sports, the lights turn off after ive restarted the car and stay off for a while, i have now idea what is causing this?

Had the same problem on skyline when it misfired, or a cylinder didnt fire. Turned out to be coilpacks, not sure if magnas have those symptoms. Does it run roughly or misfire at the time?

i had the same thing a month or 2 ago. turns out my alternator was shot. it cost around $350 to replace. are you getting dim lights and the radio turning off randomly too?
