2003 awd vr starts sometimes other times starts and runs for 5 secs then shuts off????help pls,turns over fine but no go

A simple search would have brought up several threads on this.
However, the problem your most likely having is that your battery is dieing and needs replacing or has dropped a cell. Same symptoms I had, when voltage checked, still showed good charge but would star then shut off.

Something about the Immobilizer contacts on one of the plugs or something, my car also does this occasionally.... someone will have a better idea than me

Immob will prevent start all together

Issue with either bad battery or one that is too small is that post crank there is not enough power (10.5v) for the ecu relay to remain active, it only takes a drop for a split second for the relay to turn off and then the engine stops
