Hi guys,

Have a possibility of getting another 2nd gen that doesnt start
been discribed as this

Pulled in the driveway, turned off
went to start it 30 min later, no spark just span over
pulled the battery out for 12 hours,
reconnect the battery and it goes
turn it off and has no spark again

I need ideas asap as to what it could be? Anything

its a
1995 ts magna wagon automatic

Clean the plug on the distributor and the socket. Could be that.

Thanks for that MadMax, I have decided buying it however due to it being in adelaide which is 500km from where i am and i dont want to get stuck in adelaide with it not going lol.

When you say no spark, have you pulled off a lead / used a screwdriver to check? Or just doesn't sound like it?

i havent seen the car, as its 500 kays away i was going to go up there on the bus and attempt to fix it and drive it home, but have decided against as i dont wanna risk it not going then i cant get home lol
