is there a way to reset the service light i have recently done a service on the car..

It will go away 500 kms or so after the due service point, ie - 15.500kms. But the book should be able to tell you how to re-set it.

In case you can't find the book, it says the service reminder can be manually reset by pushing the speed alarm UP arrow and turning the ignition key from LOCK to ON. Hold the arrow button down while turning the key.
