Im looking for a set of larger injectors, does anyone know where can i get a set (about 300cc+)? My brother is rebuilding his twin turbo GTO, so i can use his, does anyone know if they will fit AND if their OHMS value is acceptable, i dont want to fry my ECU.
PS does anyone know what OHM value magna injectors have?

The 360cc injectors from GTO's don't physically fit in the sohc engines (they are also low imp. so would need resistors too).
Magna injectors are high impedence, around 14 ohms.
Only places I know that sell larger injectors for magnas are rpw and raptor. I bought a set from raptor, they're a high impedence 470cc ford injector that has been modified to fit. :hmm:

The standard ones are like 270-280cc arent they, I couldnt see the point in going to 300cc. Why do you need bigger injectors. The standard ones will be more that fine for 200kw ATW NA. ive got standard injectors that have been highflowed and i have more then enough Killawasps and they are holding up fine for now.
What is giving you the idea that you need bigger injectors.?

Standard injectors should still do the job. Maybe look into getting yours highflowed. they bore out the jets or something to allow more flow. i dont think there is many options out there for magna. you might need to modify fuel rail to make them fit but you will have alot of trouble getting anything to fit under the sprintex manifold. I have the same manifold and i cant find aftermarket injectors to fit under the manifold. Im running highflowed magna ones and getting 300kw no problems out of them. Over 300kw atw will be pushing them over the edge.

Where did you get yours done?

Im not sure. Mine where done in Alice Springs.
Find someone around who services injectors and they might be able to help or point you in the right direction.

some people fit the 380 injectors, they would prob have a higher capacity than a standard magna inj

Ring Just engine management(JEM) in Ingleburn. If they can do it they will tell you where to get it done. 02 96186001.

the guy on the phone told me, they dont do it & doesnt know any one who does.
So definitely larger injector will not fit under Sprintex setup?

Why not use 380 injectors? IIRC they were bigger injectors than our 3rd gen ones.

Wouldn't 380 kit be slightly different so you might have more clearance?

Im not saying none will fit but space isnt on your side. I need bigger injectors and havent found a set that will fit under the sprintex manifold yet.

I have modified 420cc injectors in mine (stock 380 are 305cc) which Tradewind sourced for me. Think they were between $600 & $700 for the set & I had to solder different plugs on.
My tuner said as as a rule of thumb you will need to go about 30% bigger than stock if you are getting rid of the 7th injector.

Yea i rang my tuner he told me 305 bit too small......

Would probably need at least 350's + depending if you are going to run stock boost or crank it up with some good internals.

See as mentioned above its not the availability of larger injectors to suit magna, its the actual space under sprintex manifold that severely limits my choice.......

I think mine are spaced out about 8mm

Mine were direct fit, they were pretty much identical to the stock ones just a different colour and i didnt need spacers or to change the plugs
They are denso brand i think
