Looks nice m8. Lower + wheels + exhaust = beast!
Clear side indicators. VT commo ones for about $30 inc. globes. ;)
Maybe take 3.5 badge off from above indicators. Looks clean as on mine.
Can always put one on boot.

I found that almost immediately after I took off my badges, when little 4cyls creep up next to me when I'm stopped at the lights, they don't realise that I have a V6 and always try to run me... Not that my auto 12V SOHC is a ripper but still more torque than the 4cyl 2nd gens.

Well u have to mod them a bit, but they go in there
u have to get some toe nail clippes (work allrite) and snip away at the other edge of the clip, so it sorta looks like the stock mitsu one :)
and should pretty much clip in then
i would show a pic of what i mean, but i just put some on my car, and i aint takin em out
and cant find the one i broke :(

ordering them is easier :)
I still prefer the Lancer ones

Ha, yeah, when I had my recent bingle, the assessor walked to the rear of my car to get the details and looked up at me saying... "ok, debadged... what is it?...Exec?" then she sarcastically said "Oh don't worry, every exec owner who does this has the standard.......rims....oh, you have mags....sorry, what is it?" She was thinking that she had one up on me... :owned: I said, "yes, it is an executive" with a smile!

BLKMAG,
If you don't mind saying, can you please tell me how much the color coding cost you?
I'm just about to get quotes on exactly the same thing for my TE (Mirrors, skirts & rub strip)
Thanks,

Hi Guys
I'm all new to this but i love my magna and want to share that girls can do it too!!!
Mine very standard at the moment, but have de-badged except for the boot and bonnet diamonds, and i put clear indicators on. I am wanting to do something with the interior like replace some panels with VRX parts but havent decided what yet (any suggestions would be great). By end of year i will lower and 17" wheels cant afford to go bigger. I also have on the cards to change the standard headlights to the verada/vrx ones.
I also got a local trimmer to custom make me floor mats. Trimming same color as car with the 3 Diamonds in the middle of foot pad. They look great. (well i think so).

It deffinately pays to shop arround and to keep your options aswell as eyes and ears open!
You guys have got to get friends in the industry. one of my mates is a spraypainter, awesome one at that. has done hot rods and other custom jobs for shows as well as his weekday job.
he did my side skirts, mirrors, door trims, de-badged,wash,buff an polish for $130 plus my car is sable and is a bit of a b*tch to match apparently. all professional job in the booth, non of this backyard stuff. WHAT A CHAMP!
hope this answers most your questions mate :D

Thanks mate. I don't have any spraypainter friends as good as yours, but I think my old man knows one that will give me a good price.
I'll getting all the following sprayed:
Side mirrors
Side rubstrip
Side uper-half of current skirts
Talon sideskirts
Talon rear pods
Mitsu guard flares
Talon front lip
Some damage on one of my rear doors + rear 1/4 (some beating required here too)
I'm thinking about 500-700
We'll see

Better if you go a couple of streets up, mite like a bit suss if indicators from a VT vanish and magically re-appear on a Magna :)

I ordered these from OzeParts. No where near as cheap as the VT ones, but I reckon that they look heaps better. They only protrude perhaps 5 mm from the vehilce and have that snazzy black seal. They were $53 including postage.
I strongly recommend you wrap a rag around your screwdriver to get the old ones off! I piered a hole in my rag and made a small scrath in my paint. not good!

Welcome to the forums!! :D
Alot of the things you'll want to know have been covered many times, so the search bar will get you alot of clues.
There's a post in this section "EEK!! The interior" which will give you an idea.
Good luck.
