Long story short.
had the car idling yesterday for a while with the AIR CON on.
car went for a drive and stalled.
Tried to restart car, it wouldn't.
Jump Started Car... Started.... Then died....
Has battery checked and recharged it ... Not holding charge...
So installed a new battery and did the ECU idle proceedure to let it learn everything again.
Car drives fine.
BUT when you turn the air con on it stalls. Whether u r in N and stationary or driving and stop it will stall.
Does anyone have any ideas on how i could get the air con to work again.
Car is a TE V6 Manual.

Regulator, if its not holding charge, youve answered your own question. alternator.

Alternator charge rate test - test the battery as normal with a multimeter with the engine running. The reading should be between 13.5 and 14.4 volts.
However, I'd be hazarding a guess at the fault being an idle issue rather than electrical. I had a similar issue in my car when it was auto and 3 litre - ended up being the IAC sensor\module.

Vacuum leak, loose hose or Idle Speed Control unit issue.

Its still learning, it takes a while. Especially when you start using the aircon, load of the engine changes & ECU is not calibrated yet & it stalls. Okay the best way to fix it, keep driving with air con on, do lots of start stop moves, DONT try to touch the accelerator to prevent it from stalling, it will stall few times but eventually it will learn. Same thing happens to me every time battery get disconnected, few hours of driving it will go back to normal.
