Had anyone out there ever fit a "black out" Verada instrument dial into Magna? Is there any messy wire altering involve or straight plug in? I had one of those KL instrument cluster and just wondering how to fit into my TL, wondering what is the procedure. Thanks.

Pretty sure that is plug and play, you'll have an issue if you have a 4speed as opposed to the 5 that can be displayed in Tippy mode, but It should be fine other than that.
Just remove the shroud and cluster disconnect and reassemble in the reverse order.
Heres a bit of a guide to get you started from Presti

BTW, to find this I used the search box with the words 'cluster remov'.
Yep, Mal fitted one into my TF. Cause I have a TF, he had to replace the entire dash loom and do a bit of custom wiring but it works beautifully.

Many thanks guys. Brilliant!
You've got me interested in doing this too on my 03 TL LS. Just one concern though: will there be issues with the odometer reading? Or is that now stored in the ECU i.e. separate from the instrument cluster / LCD display?
Btw, how much should I expect to pay for one of these Verada blackout clusters? Hate to think what the agents will quote!
Cheers,
Aj
