Hey guys im wanting to upgrade all my grounds in my engine bay, and the one i haven't done yet is the Batt to Alt ground.

Now i have looked at various wiring diagrams of the alt, and even check the manual and im trying to find where i ground it to.

I saw a ring terminal under the grey cover on the right hand side of the alt but that runs the same course as the positive so im wondering whether that really is the Neg or whether its another positive.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks

The alternator is grounded through its metal body to the engine block and the engine block is connected to the battery negative. No point grounding it really, but if you must use a round connector under the mounting bolt of the alternator.
