Bought a Aerpro Harness for my 98 Magna Solara, this one says "most late model",
do i need the 1 or 2 plug harness?, i wasn't too sure when in the shop.
Cheers.

My 1998 tf has the 1 plug so yours would most probably be the same :D

MY TJII is just the 1 plug, from the manual I saw it appeared the older model magnas were 2 plug.

All third gens have the Misti "standard" one-plug loom connector to the radio head-unit.
Aerpro and similar suppliers make "Mitsi one-plug to ISO" as well as "Mitsi one-plug to bare wires" etc. You can get "ISO to <your brand of audio>" or use the "bare wires to <your brand of audio>" that prob came with your head unit IF IF IF you wanna play match-the-colours. ISO is nice and plug-n-play.
One BIG point to remember, is that OEM Mitsi head-units are grounded/earthed through the head-unit chassis. There is NO / NIL / NADA / ZIP earth wires in the Mitsi loom. If your aftermarket audio has an earth/ground wire in its wiring loom, you will have to terminate that to some metallic screw or bolt under the dash. There are several convenient ones nearby.
