Hey, welcome to the club!
Just wrote on your other thread. I wld strongly suggest trying to pic up a manual Ralliart Magna if your looking for supercharging + LSD. They have a better basis than anyother magna for performance. But, if you can get your hands on an LSD then go for it.

Do the LSD first...that's how important it is.

transmission specialist would be your best bet.
Yahuh, welcome to modifying your magna, where $10K gets you into mid 14's.

Yeah I have a Quaife as well, it's fantastic, seriously, so much fun on it's own. Do it, do it, do it :)

It cost me $2900 to have it fitted to a manual - I paid 2400 to RPW including fitting and supply of the LSD - but I think that included about $200 to replace my crown wheel as well and about $500 labour at a different workshop to have my gearbox removed/replaced and filled with new oil.

It "bolts" straight into the manual but you really need a transmission specialist to do it I think you have to do bearing preloads and stuff you cant just tear it apart and throw it in so to speak. Sounds like you got the cash anyway.

RPW seem to be the only place to source it but you'll have to get someone local to install it.

I am currently looking to sell my Manual gearbox with Quaife already fitted looking at probably about $2k including the full manual conversion kit, will be posting this up shortly. But given you already have a manual probably better to go new into your gearbox.

The other option is to find a second hand manual ralliart box but they're not so easy to come by and the Quaife has a lifetime warranty including trackwork but not including labour on the installation.

Speak to Gearbox Express in ingleburn. I believe they fitted EGO's quaife.

You can get the LSD only for 1000pp from the states. It is the 6g72 eclipse model.

I'm still looking at an LSD for my manual 380.

Would this one from the States go into the 380 manual box with minimal stuffing about? QUAIFE LSD LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE (http://cgi.ebay.com/QUAIFE-LSD-LIMITED-SLIP-DIFFERENTIAL-MITSUBISHI-ECLIPSE-/250765464277?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a62c952d5)

Or is it no chance without major engineering = big cost?

Blackstar, what do you say?

Yep, thanks for the heads up, looks like the details are in this thread: Quaife ATB LSD for Magna (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60783&highlight=Quaife).

Time to do some more checking on the US Fleabay site & elsewhere.

Not sure about reversing It since the 3G eclipse v6 runs the exact same running gear as a 6g72 magna, with the exception of a variable intake manifold.
