has anyone changed their fog lights on a tj vrx?

if so do you need to take off the front bar? or is it just jack up the car and remove the old lights from the back?

G'day mate. If the setup is the same as my KF, there are 2 screws in FRONT of the fog light lens, holding the fog light bracket onto the bar. Undo those and you should be able to pop out the light assembly, pull out a plug, and put the new globe in. Easy as :)

I just changed a globe on my VRX not long ago!

if it just a globe its easy, jack the side up that you need, pop your head under and you will see grey round cover, unscrew that and then you will see the globe, it just clips and easy and the new one goes in very easy, not hard to do at all.

i see this is an old thread, does anyone here know what type of globes to ask for for replacement?

What voltage would be running these fog lights? was thinking of putting LEDs in them...

they are H3 55 watt bulbs 12 volt. Not sure you would wont to put just led's in them though. I use these in my ones http://www.shopatron.com/products/productdetail/part_number=PIA13556/353.0

they look great and are much better through fog and heavy rain although they are expensive you can use ordinary clear bulbs in them as well
