Hey guys ive had my verada for about 3 years now and its time for a change. Ive brought a modded magna ( lloyd's flame magna) and im looking to transfer alot of it to my verada.

First thing is first:

My current car is a KF verada, AUTO 3.5, Sedan

Magna is 2000 TH, Manual 3.5, Sedan

I want to convert the verada to manual using the parts from the magna. Has anyone done this from a 97 verada? Also what sort of problems can i expect to encounter from this? And the parts i need to change? Im guessing the ECU etc

I also want to take the trip meter from the magna and put it in the verada. Anything required or is it straight replacement?

Door light delay, Is it hard to change over between cars also?

Any other questions i come up with il post as i go.

Both cars should have door light delay well my TH does?

Also the Verada Trip computer would be better as it has a clock in it and the TH wont.

The verada doesnt have the delay thats why i wanted to swap them over. Also the verada doesnt have trip computer for some reason. .

As its a KF then it will have clock/speed alert only. Trip computer came out on the TH/KH series onwards

does the Th have cruise and wasn't it a auto to begin with and that has been converted as well...if it has,just look at how it is done and you shouldnt have any problems...

No the TH doesnt have cruise. Which poses another question. .

The verada does and the TH doesnt. Hard to get working when its manual?

And yes the TH still has the auto cluster in it so i am positive it was an auto before.

Also do you have to drill new holes the the verada firewall for the manual components?

realistically,as the TH was an auto,then it should be just a straight swap,and,duh,yes you do have to drill holes in the firewall for the clutch,and ,yes ,the cruise will still work

I ment new holes or just a removable plate. But yeah i figured new holes. Now i just need to work out if im better taking it to mitsifix for a conversion and selling the magna with the manual in it, or use the parts from it and do it myself. .
