Hi Guys,
wondering if there are any helpfull members out there that could help me out with my TR wagon 4cylinder auto. It brings a check engine light up about 95% of the time and I can tell its running in 'limp-home-mode' as a result. Every now and then the light goes off and it runs cleaner for a bit, before choking and stumbling (often stalling) and then the CEL is back on again.
If anyone nearby is able to help me read the diagnostics and help me find the problem that would be greatly appreciated. Drinks and lunch on me!

It can be a number of sensors but most common is the oxy sensor that causes this, however I wouldn't think it would cause your car into limp mode, there may be more than 1 issue here.
Best advice is give Mal a call, if he can't fix it, then no one can lol.

Limp home mode is cause by a gearbox problem, general the TCU is stuff :)

Make sure the heater core hasn't leaked coolant onto the TCU (under centre console, beneath radio/heater core area).

Any instructions on how to read the error message? If I can get that info, I'm happy to replace sensors!
