How do I bleed the radiator on a 98 Magna Advance TE , do I leave the radiator cap off or is there a bleed valve?
If there is a bleed valve where is it located?
Thanks

As far as I know there are two drain plugs under each radiator and you need to take the cap off. The drain plugs need to be painted with lock-tite or similar.

To bleed, not to drain, simply fill up, start the car, keep topping up
As the thermostat is on the inlet, as long as you keep trickling water intot he system, you will not have issues with air locks

buy one of these kits and no problems with air pockets you will ever have.

just fill till its half way up the funnel and turn the car on and run (with front end of car up hill).
plus the plunger for the centre after your finish means no mess.
cheers

WATER? OMG! Use coolant instead. lol
After bleeding, check that the temperature gauge acts as normal, and keep an eye on the coolant reservoir for a while as any air bubbles in the cooling system will end up in there and the level can drop a lot.

You could just use an empty coke bottle cut in half with electrical tape around the spout will do the same thing for a fraction of the price.

But bleeding it properly costs nothing using a coke bottle?
Never used a coke bottle and never ever had an issue.
