I planning on putting a sub and amp into my 380 vrx and i want to clarify that this head unit has RCA's in the back before i rip my car apart.

SO Does this head unit have RCAs?
Or What are my other options?

There are no RCA's.

Options are replace the head unit & have the comm error on your display screen or keep the head unit & do a high level speaker out to an amp/processor.

I am just doing mine & am keeping the head unit in conjunction with a JBL MS-8 processor .... expensive but should be good!

The stock 380 CD player has no RCAs in the back but it does have a 13 pin female connection. They are 13 pin to 3.5mm cables around, but I was told by Jaycar today that you each 13 pin connection is different, depending on the manufacturer. I wanted to use it to play music through my iPhone.

I know that Mitsubishi offer to install an audio cable to use your iPod with, but they charge well over $100 for the install when it should be a very simple procedure. Does anyone know what kind of 13pin connection they use? What brand is the stock CD player/stacker?
