It's the really superbright luminous green of which only a few were made...

I need the factory paint code please?

The paint name is "Sub Lime" and the paint code is "HP"

There were only 50 vehicles produced in this colour.

Thankyou...
chased the code up for 'sublime' and found Protec paint can supply it!...

Woohoo....
It's for my 1974 XB Falcon Street Machine currently undergoing a bare metal restoration!!

Protec is a good brand, I use it, only brand I use. Buy all of the colour coat in one lot, unlike me at 2L at a time, because you can get colour mismatch that way, like I did with Flame Red. lol

Used white in 2L batches with no problems before.

You live and learn I guess. lol

any paint manufacturer will have the tinters to mix it up..Protec is crap, it's low end and cheap.
if you were doing a full resto. on an XB and wanting it street machine quality , pay a bit more and get something decent.

colour mismatch shouldn't happen when using the same brand paint , unless it was 5 years apart and the panel was never polished and it has faded.
with the same base and tinters , and they are weighed/measured correctly when the final colour is mixed/made , there shoudln't be a difference.....unless it's protec :)

Thanks guys.. I rang Protec to see if they can mix it.. they can which means others can too..
not sure who the painter is going through for the paint.. will find out tomorrow when I see him...
Apparently.. Spies/Hecker provided the paint to Mitsubishi.. so I am told by Mitsy's..
and it does appear on the Spies/Hecker color sheet as a Mitsubishi colour...
