So, Im probably just imagining things, but the ratios on the manual seem very short, who has a stock TR/TS manual that can tell me what rpm 110km/h in 5th should be? or anyone who has owned one in the past and can recall.

huh..... apparently everything is as it should be, not that im complaining, having the optimal power range of the engine instantly available for high speed overtaking is well worth having it rev a little high at cruise i reckon

Are the ratios for 4 and 6 cyl 2nd gens different? Ive heard that 4 and 6 have the same gearbox but ive also heard they use completely different ones so im not sure =\

There ya go. In a manual with cruise control the engine cant push the clutch in and downgear for you. Has to be able to have enough torque in 5th to overtake. This is one of the reasons it needs to be in the powerband.

Different box, and listed in the owners manual which you should all have are the ratios.

The TS is a heavy beast and the 2.6 isn't very powerful, but it will sit on 110 kph at 2,500 rpm all day without sounding stressed. That's a non cruise manual.

Cruise and non-cruise are the same gearing I think.
