Will a 3.5L intake plenum chamber fit a 3L without and mods?

Is there any issue in doing just that?

If you're talking about a 3rd gen 3litre, yes it will fit.

The lower intake is the one that will not fit :)

Excellent that means i can get one from U Pull It, and begin to polish it.

I have one here I've grinded most of the harsh metal off, ready to be polished, I can get pictures of it if you'd like? Don't need it as i was gona use it a while back for the 2nd gen.
i.e. If i show you a picture would you be willing to make an offer? Saves the trip to pinch a part

Mix between an angle grinder with a flapdisk, dremel with sanding wheels and grinder bits and in some cases a drill.

Here's a pic of my manifold i polished it's not mirror but still came up nice and shiney. Tools i used were a ozito dremel with grinding wheel to get it smooth and the pointed stones to get in between the runners and the sanding beggins i started with 80 wet and dry worked through to 2000! so it took me about 2 full days.

Same strut brace, as me. So our motors should look similar.

Did you do the underside aswell or just enough of the top so you cant see any dull part underneath?

If you google the subject there are extenisve guides on how to polish an intake manifold.
grind off casting marks with a machine, dremel whatever, then starting at about 320G you work your way down the grades of sandpaper to 2000 before a final polish.
sand sand sand sand.
