Anyone able to help regarding replacing brake light globe?

I have been able to pull the plastics out but the cover holding the globe will not twist, pull or move at all. Tried clockwise, anticlockwise etc but it wont budge.

Any help appreciated.

I had to use a pair of vice grips and a second person holding the light to get mine out, it was stuck in really well. Anticlockwise is the go. ;)

Vicegrips make all the difference.

One of mine was tight as and the other was ok. I greased around to o ring etc before I put it back.
